What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the dedicated Engineering team, you’ll report to the Electrical Engineering Manager and play a key role in keeping the equipment running smoothly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing day-to-day maintenance and repairs on plant machinery and electrical systems
  • Conducting preventive maintenance to minimise downtime
  • Supporting and delivering improvement projects
  • Assisting with the installation and commissioning of equipment upgrades
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting third-party contractors
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and maintaining a safe working environment

Your work will help ensure customer orders are delivered on time, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Need

To be successful in this role, you should be a time-served electrician with a recognised qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.

We’re also looking for:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • A flexible, proactive mindset with a strong focus on safety
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Familiarity with PLCs and control systems (advantageous but not essential)
  • A genuine commitment to ongoing learning and continuous improvement
