Key Responsibilities
As a Project Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle from concept to commissioning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external contractors to deliver robust electrical systems and upgrades that meet high standards of safety, quality, and performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, and budget management.
- Coordinating with internal departments and stakeholders to align project outcomes with business objectives.
- Creating and reviewing electrical designs, drawings, and specifications ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Managing installation, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems and equipment.
- Supporting asset improvement strategies, including sourcing spare parts and contributing to maintenance planning.
About You
You’ll be a results-driven Electrical Engineer with a strong foundation in project delivery and a proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Essential qualifications and experience include:
- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering electrical projects in industrial, manufacturing, or heavy engineering environments.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, coordinate teams, and deliver to deadlines.
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are also key.
