About the Role:

Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for your next opportunity? Our client, a well-established M&E contractor based in Warrington and other sites across the North, are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to support their growing portfolio of commercial and industrial projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical installations on a range of commercial and industrial projects.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and scope documents to prepare comprehensive tenders.
  • Source and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and provide alternative solutions where beneficial.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders during the tendering process.
  • Stay informed of current market rates, industry trends, and materials pricing.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction sector.
  • Strong background working on projects in the education, healthcare, commercial, student accommodation or industrial sectors.
  • In-depth understanding of electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarms, security, and data.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders and work effectively under deadlines.
