Location: Staffordshire and client sites across the UK

Salary: up to £32,240

Hours: 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday

As an Electrical Improver, you’ll play a key role in assembling, installing, and supporting electrical systems and components for a wide variety of projects, all under the guidance of experienced professionals. This is a hands-on position where you’ll contribute to real-world impact and gain invaluable skills along the way.

The salary banding for this role is up to £32,240 and is based on an applicants Skills, Training and Competence.

Responsibilities

  • Follow schematics provided by Engineering department to assemble panels, install electrical components etc.
  • Prepare built items for test
  • Conduct installation work under supervision on client sites
  • Work to Orbital’s quality standards
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations plus clients rules and regulations at all times

Requirements

  • NVQ in Electrical Installation or similar
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work alone and in a team
  • Full, clean driving licence and own transport
