Your Role:
As an Instrument Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the compressor stations and above-ground installations that are essential to the National Transmission System. These high-pressure systems ensure gas flows smoothly across the UK’s pipeline network, supporting homes, businesses, and industries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing safety, control, and measurement systems at our compressor stations and above ground installations.
- Acting as a site controller, issuing permits, and ensuring the safe operation of works.
- Conducting isolations and supporting construction and commissioning of new assets.
- Travelling across the Huntingdon region, covering different sites and receiving ongoing training to develop your expertise.
Standby Rota standby ranges between 1 week in 4 to 1 week in 6 depending on team size.
