Industrial / COMPEX ELECTRICIAN
Join our client as a permanent Compex Electrician based from their Staffordshire workshop and client sites across the UK & Europe.
Permanent Position: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week)
Overtime: There is potential for working up to 50 hours per week.
Location: Work in Staffordshire’s workshop and client sites across the UK and Europe. 25% workshop. 75% travelling customer sites across the UK.
Reporting to: Workshop Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
Follow engineering schematics for panel assembly and electrical component installation.
Prepare items for testing and conduct installations at client sites.
Maintain clients high-quality standards and adhere to safety regulations.
Attend courses to expand your expertise.
Essential Skills:
– NVQ in Electrical Installation
– 2391 Inspection and Test,
– City & Guilds Electrical qualifications, or equivalent.
– City & Guilds 18th Edition.
– Compex EX01 – 04 certification. (either current or expired within the last 6 months)
– Previous industrial installation experience.
– Flexibility to travel within the UK and Europe, with overnight stays.
– Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently or in teams.
– Full, clean driving license and personal transport.
Desirable Skills:
– Prior gas industry or National Grid experience.
– EUSR Gas Safety Passport.

Based on a regular 40 hour week
– Electrician (No Compex) – from £18.09ph – £37,627.20 salary
– Compex Electrician – from £19.64ph – £40,851.20 salary
Based on a regular 45 hour week
– Electrician (No Compex) – from £18.09ph – £44,682.30 salary
– Compex Electrician – from £19.64ph – £48,510.80 salary
Based on a regular 50 hour week
– Electrician (No Compex) – from £18.09ph – £51737.40 salary
